What is this rare bird used in Agatha Christie's 'Murder in the orient Express' ?

Hello,

I can't find anything on this aircraft, appearing in Sydney Lumet's movie 'Murder in the Orient Express'

It has a pilot seat, and a closed cabin for 2 passengers, which would indicate very early commercial flight purpose. The action is supposed to take place in the 30s

Any idea ?
