Dc-4 Vh-paf

For propliner fans who haven't recently ventured too far from this forum have a look at http://www.pprune.org/dg-p-general-a...cherfield.html . The last DC-4 in Oz, VH-PAF flew again, for the first time in 7 years, from Brisbane (Archerfield) to Woolloongong (Illawarra) where it will join the HARS Super Connie, and hopefully be restored to the same state as that fine machine, so that it can be flown and displayed regularly. Some nice pics in that thread. I was lucky enough to be at the end of the runway for the take off from Archerfield - very special. She's still got class!
