Thumbs up De Havilland Mosquito Flights - Read Here

Just been out at Ardmore today looking over a DeHavilland Mosquito that is being rebuilt here to flying condition and thought I would post this on here based on the discussion I had with Wal.

Once the Mossie is rebuilt and test flown the owner is thinkng about flying it all the way back to the United States via the western ring route ie: to Australia, up through Asia, Middle East to Europe, etc and across the top to the USA.

Now what he is thinking of doing is auctioning off legs of the flight to various enthusiasts or those who wanted to experience something very out of the ordinary. Imagine being in the Mossie for the leg from say Duxford over the White Cliffs and into France - that would be cool.

Wal asked me to post this on here and see if you guys thought this is something worth pursuing.

Look forward to your commens and input.
