John Fairey RIP.
I have posted this link just in case anyone missed the very sad news that John Fairey had been killed in his Piston provost.

A great aviator had for many years operated Spitfire Tr8 G-AIDN and Fairey Flycatcher on the UK Airshow circuit.
Although I never met John, a good friend of mine the late Robert Rudhall would often recall their times together at Staverton in the early seventies.
Batchy.

Can anyone who knows the details of John's funeral arrangements, please post them here. I have a friend who is ex Fairey and who would like to attend or in some other way contribute,
Thanks,
Chris
Thanks,
Chris
Think I am correct in reporting that the funeral is a private family funeral but there is to be a memorial service open to all...........
