Open day at Gatwick Aviation Museum

Just to let you know that we at Gatwick Aviation Museum will be holding what we term as "an enthusiasts day" on the 29th of August.
On that day we will be running our Sea Vixen XS587 and one of the two Sea Princes. We will also open as many cockpits as we can to allow people to get a a real close up of these airframes. Many of our volunteer engineering staff will be on hand to answer questions and help probe the depths of the aircraft!

Numbers will be limited to comply with H&S regulations, if you are interested in attending please send email via the website, or to: [email protected]
or contact Peter Vallance on 01293 862915

Just a reminder for those who had not seen this post.
We still have places for this event.

The Vixen is running well, a run last Saturday confirmed the work
on the throttle rigging.

Just about ready to give the Sea Prince her test run.

Come and support this effort to showcase two of the Navy's classic aircraft.

If I wear an Hi Viz tabbard, toe tector shoes, ear defenders and a condom will I be eligible to witness the event? I have a risk assessment, method statement and hazard ID for entering this lethal site; I think.
