DH100 Vampire Mishap

Unfortunately, one of the few remaining airworthy and flying Vampires is no longer so after engine trouble forced a return to the airport. Fortunately, the pilot had only minor injuries and has already been released from the hospital.

I have been led to believe that this particular Vampire is/was the worlds oldest flying jet aircraft, which now leaves the F.86A Sabre at Duxford as the worlds oldest airworthy jet. Does anyone know different????
