Dear Pop
In a thread not far from here, PPRuNe Pop followed my contribution with the somewhat cryptic comment
Did he mean:
a) it's not a Viscount,
b) it's not a Dinky Toy,
or
c) was he responding to PropSynchOff's comment?
In view of the lock on the thread, I assume the correct answer is c.
If so, I would really like to know why, since the thread apparently had all the right qualifications: aviation, history and nostalgia and it was following in the footsteps of some of the most popular threads on PPRuNe.

PS Was it a Viscount?
Sorry, I don't think so!

This could become an interesting thread...

There ARE enough of this type of thread. Next it will 'what aircraft are these tyres from?' What are........................etc etc.,
This is a forum for history and nostalgia. Interiors and tyres, or whatever, do not fit. Take a look. A huge amount of bandwidth is used for the cockpit, aircraft, aerodromes and more. Discussion about our past aviation is what this thread is about. Not the nuts, bolts and rivets - the list could be endless.
Sorry, but a line has to be drawn somewhere.
