Old Air Crash

Some time in the 50s or early 60s I can remember seeing a crashed plane ( possibly a DC 3 ) in field close to Wrightington church in Lancashire but I cant find records or in fact any reference to this advent in local press, Can anybody help with information.

You could also try the Lancashire Aircraft Investigation Team at

[email protected]

which is associated with the RAF Millom Museum and the Peak District Air Accident Research Group at:

Peak District Air Accident Research

Good luck!
