I found this photo among my father's effects. It was in an envelope with 'Christmas Island 1957' written on it.
Am I correct in assuming that the aircraft is a Shackleton of 240 Sqdn?
If so, what mark is it?

All I have to do now is to read my father's log books to see if he was flying VP263 or photographing it.
