John Lear - True of False

Disregarding John Lear's opinions on UFOs, 9/11, Greys, secret cities in Nevada etc etc - Can anyone tell me for sure if he flew Boeing 707-430s in the late 70s/early 80s for Hank Warton (or one of his outfits)? He says he did on his www site - but then again he says a lot of things on his site....
Anyone have any first-hand knowledge please?
