Prestwick Crash

I am researching the crash for a new book and wondered if anyone has the following information I'm having trouble sourcing:

1. What was the minimum landing distance a Strat needed?
2. What is the landing speed of a Strat?
2. What was the age of First Officer King at the time of the crash .

Thanks in advance.

Robert Thornton

I can answer the performance questions-
Landing speed 93mph-80knots
Landing distance from 50ft at 105000lb -1880yds, with reverse thrust 1610yds.
Source is https://www.skytamer.com/Boeing_377.html

This short article is a more practical guide on how to fly the military version of the Strat-
How to Fly the C97

On the same website is a reprint of an article about BOAC operations by Tony Spooner DSO DFC http://www.ovi.ch/b377/articles/speedbird/index.html

Does anyone know who the captain was on the Avro York flight that left London at 9 a.m. Christmas morning?

The flight was to take AIB ad BOAC personnel to Prestwick.
