What aircraft is this?
It is a Nord 3202,a basic trainer used by L`Armee de L`Air from about 1960; also the aircraft in which Leon Biancotto was killed whilst practising for the FAI World Championships(aerobatics). It was really an outclassed machine, compared to a Stampe and Zlin226, but it was French designed, and Biancotto was the best.I saw him perform at an Air Day at Nth.Weald in mid -summer `60.Absolutely great, but a month later he was dead..
It was said he spent a lot of time at home, hanging upside-down in a parachute harness as a training aid....Sadly ,the aircraft let him down...Syc..

It lies somewhere between a Nord 3201 (not the Nord 3202), and the Fokker S-11. (Yes, I know the Brazilians built a S-11 knock-off, plus a tri-cycle gear version as well). Perhaps a license-built version combining the best from DeHavilland's DHC-1 Chipmunk, and the worst from the Hindustan HT-2. Is it from the far-off Islet's of Langerhan..?

Not from that stable, Avitor, although it is Gipsy-powered.
A very cryptic question, evansb! Laguesse? Pancreas? Not from France, Holland or Brazil.

I think you are right, T-21. The undercarriage is pure Messenger, the wing root has a definite whiff of Magister about it, and those flaps are Gemini-like. So, a licence-built clone. Fascinating, not seen one before.

Thanks ,M.K.E.K. stands for Makine-Kimya Endustrusu Kurumu. I don't know how many were built for the Turkish Air Force early fifties, but the three supplied to the Royal Jordanian Air Force were abandoned quickly due to excessive vibration and manufacturing defects. The engine was a 145 hp DH Gipsy Major 10.

Having never heard of this aircraft before I looked it up on the internet. According to this site at least one still exists in the aviation museum at Yesilköy/Istanbul.
