Give your RIAT ticket refund to XH558!

I've got a great idea. Having bought 4 tickets for RIAT, it now looks as if nothing will come of it.

If you have already spent the money, and are looking for a worthy cause, post your refund in the form of a cheque to Vulcan XH558. Then we will have another chance to see her next year when it stops bloody raining.

And thank you to the hotel that charged me a £220 cancellation fee for my wife and our two children aged 1 and 3. Perhaps you should donate my room rate to 558, then you might get some business next year.

Please name the hotel you refer so that we know not to stay there in future.
An email address to focus collective displeasure to the hotel might also help

Thanks also to the coach company who charged my group £300 cancellation fee.

So glad I found out late Friday in time to cancel - if they had turned up at the pickup it would have been full £765 for nowt!

Think you'll find most companies have a cancellation policy/fee! I cannot see why the Hotel & Coach companies should be expected to suffer financially thro' no fault of their own.
