Shuttleworth 060708 pics

The rain is becoming somewhat tiresome this year, added to the wind this meant that many of the lighter aircraft stayed firmly in the hangars. But what did fly put on a great show as usual.

The Anson displayed in a rainstorm

As did the Jungmann, with an open cockpit that rapidly became a bathtub

There was a bit of sun though

The Kennet Aviation Wasp from North Weald

I think I am in the cross hairs

Well done MOTF - you wouldn't know it was raining! They just keep getting better - or you just get more selective!

Unfortunately I had to miss Sunday's show as I was on my way to Germany again.....

Superb photos and I'm amazed that any show was possible at all! It was wet and horrible at Birrmigoom airport when I left.

'Duggy' Dennison was obviously enjoying himself in the Lizzie!
