Venom FB.1 WR357 of 8 Sqn, flew into high ground one mile south of Lazarak, Aden, during a low-level attack.

Just to add a bit more to the two replies above.
Category Five by Colin Cummings states:
"8 Sqn, 1 mile south of Lazarak, Arabian Peninsular. The pilot was leading a pair of aircraft on an operational sortie. He attacked the target in a wadi with cannon but failed to clear the high ground after the attack and struck rising ground about 200 feet above the level of the wadi.

B-dave - That info came from "Category Five, A Catalogue of Aircraft Losses 1954-2009" by Colin Cummings.

There is also mention of Operation Zipper in "High Stakes: Britain's Air Arms in Action 1945-1990 By Vic Flintham and mentions WR357 in the text. You can see the pages when of the book when googled.
