Thanks evansb. I thought it may have been a development project for the Short Shetland. Lot of projects out there I've never heard of or seen before and the last couple of pages have me gobsmacked. Found this while looking for that SIPA twin awhile back, however I haven't been able to locate it on the internet...

A familiar looking tail shape and despite the reference (SIPA) to maybe put us off the "French scent" I have an idea that it is from there? Not on the web? Oh dear......... RR

Oh dear.........
It gets worse, the only source I have on it is in German. However, on the upside, it did receive an RLM number so you'll find it listed here. All you gotta do is sift through it. Looks like a utility transport wouldn't you say?

I would think so as that is the only "utility transport" listed! RR

Confused. Plane could be british, but the engines look like Hirth V8's.

Messerschmitt Me 164 ?
Yep. The engines are Argus As 411s of 575 hp. With a crew of 2 and 8 passengers it was to cruise at 384 km/h and estimated range was 2000 km. I believe the "C" in its designation (Messerschmitt Me C 164V1) stood for Caudron and a prototype was under construction. But if you can read German I'd love to know what this says...

Over to you LM.

'Evening Noyade, and thanks.

I think that one would have stalled for ages were it not for your clue.
Certainly I had never heard of it.

It seems that RR and I were the only ones who had time to trawl through that designations list.

So here's another which is new to me....

Ahhh...I suspect you've gone back to that Luft '46 site mate... The Junkers Ju EF 132. After my last effort I'm in the "sin bin" so if it is correct, Open House.

Evening again Noyade.

No I have not. It's been on my computer for a few weeks now.

What makes you think you're in the sin bin Mate?

Come on, you've got time to get another one up before you go to bed. If not, I've got a goody ready.

LM
