LM did you mean Polish jet trainer PZL I-22 Iryda M-96?

A certain instruments factory in Somerset was fascinating too.
Pretty busy, I hear.

Morning everyone

Kitbag, not the Pampa

LM/RD, not from PZL

And LM, welcome back from your holiday....hope it was a good one.
Car was excellent - we managed 1100 kilometers
Was that before it broke down!

I looked hard at that, but it has much more leading-edge sweepback than the challenge.

Oi mate - this is a low-mileage Mercedes.

Nuther question.

Is this thing a double-intake single or a twin?

No idea, can't see any reference to them in the description.

OK mate - thanks.

Since it looks like an intermediate/advanced trainer, does it also have light weapon hardpoints?

Oh, ok then...it never flew. It made it beyond the drawing board (just) but production of the prototype was stopped. It was designed to meet a specific requirement.

No, LM identified the intended role. When I say requirement I mean to meet a specific tender for a trainer aircraft. Unfortunately the requirements of the tender changed which resulted in the aircraft being dropped.

Understood. Now I have to go shopping for a while (Saturday drill). Will be back probably by the time this one is over. Nice elusive challenge, though .

How about MBB / SNIAS E.650-9701 Eurotrainer (wooden mock-up in Luftfahrt-Museum, Villingen-Schwenningen, Germany)?

Yes, in part.

MBB / SNIAS E.650-9701 Eurotrainer
No, not that. This is a more recent design (1990's).
