Thurs 20Mar VC-10 Front end M25

Between M1 and M40 heading toward M40 on the M25 the front cockpit section of a VC10 in primer grey /green (on a low loader). Anyone any idear form whence it came and its destination.

Good call but well before that segment of the M25. It might have come from the M1 M11 or from Kent?

Perhaps more museum parts on the way to Brize to keep the RAF fleet airborne!

It was common practice ten years ago. I suspect it's still going on!

ALL front cockpit sections present and correct at Brooklands today!..

Would still be interested where this one was going to and came from?..

I don't know about any possible destinations but St. Athan could have been where it came from, the front section of ZA144 was still around there last I heard. (See here: http://www.vc10.net/History/bitsandp...G-ARVC_/_ZA144)

Anyone else with more?
