Question London Waterloo helicopter station and Air terminal

Hello, I've got a question I hope is not too much off-topic :

Does anybody knows when the Waterloo (London, UK) air terminal, and the associated helicopter station, were first opened, and finaly closed ? They were situated on the actual Jubilee gardens / London eyes place.

I've recently found a very old "London A to Z" (an atlas) and trying to put a year on it (no year indicated anywhere, probably missing pages). Differents clues makes me think it's date is between 1953 and 1959, and I'm trying to refine this estimation with other clues.

Here is a photo of the map:

It's from this old "london a-to-z" :

Thanks !

The British European Airways Terminal was opened on the Festival of Britain site on the 19th May 1953 by the then Minister of Aviation. It closed in 1957 and was transferred to the Cromwell Road, which opened on the 6th October 1957.
25 July 1955: BEA began scheduled passenger helicopter services between London airport and the South bank Heliport at Waterloo; the service was discontinued on 31 May 1956 having carried 3,822 revenue passengers. First flight by Westland-Sikorsky S55 G-ANUK.

BEA had a scheduled service from Waterloo to Heathrow from July 1955 for 10 months.
Their helicopters apparently used the site occasionally between 1952 and 1959.

British European Airways float-equipped S-55 lands at the South Bank,
London, on the first helicopter service from London
Airport on July 25, 1955.
