Memphis Belle DVD - Aeroplane Monthly

Just watched the free DVD that came with this month's Aeroplane Monthly. The Memphis Belle feature contained footage of its return to Douglas at Palm Beach in 1943. Fantastically atmospheric film that - to me - captures American confidence and can-do. Those featured in the Palm Beach footage look relaxed and healthy (OK: they were not being bombed and not subject to rationing). Strangely, all were sporting very modern looking photo-ids.
If you've got the DVD, watch ASAP.
BTW, does anyone watch film like that, pick any face from a crowd or a group and wonder what happened to them in the intervening years? I do but maybe I'm a bit sad...
