Charlie's Photos IV
I have attached three more of my pictures showing some of the accommodation at the 1913 LL Flight. Whilst the 'leisure' building, the 'Pintail Parlour', is a Quonset hut, the 'Knock-Tom Tavern' is own constructed living accommodation, originally the pile of bits shown in other picture. Amazing to think that on active service in those days, we were able to not only build our own living accommodation, but also borrow aircraft (the L19A) from another country's armed forces (so I am led to believe).
Two more of Charlie's photos. Sorry for the delay Charlie.
