Lovely smoooooth control inputs and skilled flying ,not dangerous. I hate all this modern day aerobatics with brutal control inputs and VNe all the time. What happened to control finesse ?

Same year (I think), Paris Salon, same wiggling fly-by, same one-wheel touch & go, but one engine out Aero Commander.

I saw his last Reno display in the Shrike - wonderful! I'd like to see the Mustang display too, someone must have filmed him in the thirty-odd years he flew it.

Believe it of not I've been looking for his P-51 show and I cannot find a video of it anywhere. There are tons of the Aero Commander shows, but so far no joy on the P-51 or the F-100.

I shall keep looking. I was just lucky to stumble onto the F-86 video.

Bob Hoover F86 display

con-pilot.

What a fantastic display, sheer finesse & so smooth.

You do not see much of this standard today. A pity.

Thanks
