Meet fighter pilots and active crew at Yeovilton
Hi I have been given a wonderful day for aviation buffs to help raise funds for Larry an 11year old autistic boy. Would anyone like to offer a sealed bid for this great day, which includes all of the following
A VIP day at Yeovilton.
A personal tour of the Historic Flight hangar and of all its impressive flying machines, Swordfish, Sea fury, Sea Vixen and others.
A visit to the Control Tower at the fully active airbase.
A 'trip' in the Lynx Helicopter used for training current aircrew operating in Iraq and Afghanistan.
Watch an aerobatic display, put on just for you!
A short ride in a club aircraft ,and if it's available, you can climb in the back of a replica Seafire (the sea going version of the Spitfire while it flies around the airbase! Get a feel for what it was like for 'the few'!
For aviation buffs this is a unique opportunity to see some amazing aircraft up close and personal. you will meet fighter pilots and active crew and, perhaps the flight of your life. Sealed bids or tickets can be found at Tourist Information in Wells, Somerset.
