Victor Flypasts 1993

A long shot here. I am trying to find out which Victor K.2 carried out flypasts at a number of airfields including Woodford on 30th September 1993. I believe it did flypasts at airfields associated with the type prior to it's retirement in October.

Brilliant photographs! Thanks for posting them, especially the first one which co-incidently shows two other types in the frame it has been my (mis)fortune to be associated with in my career!

By Googling it would seem that XH672 did the 30/09/1993 runs.

Thanks for that. Could you point me to the website that mentions it. My Googling didn't find that info.

My father used to work on the Victor production line at Radlett, A dam good-looking aircraft.

Can anyone confirm that that there were some Victors parked up at Radlett in 1969 when Handley Page went bust that were waiting for tanker conversions?

Yes,
Having been on Google earlier today I read that some Victors were at Radlett at the time HP folded.
Unique looking aircraft but fancy naming it after a Vauxhall car
Here ya go:

XL161 Taken at my then place of work where photography was prohibited! A number of these Victors were in open storage at Radlett in Hertfordshire for many years but with the demise of Handley Page they were flown to Woodford where this aircraft, a first for the database, awaits conversion to a K.Mk 2 tanker.
