Boac Speedbird Logo

Could anyone tell me when BOAC changed the speedbird logo from white to gold?

I have looked through some old timetables.
It looks as though the change was 1965.

Did that co-incide with the Cunard thing?

I seem to recall a fair bit of gold on the aircraft at that time.

BOAC-Cunard began operating in 1962. According to "Wings Across The World" the new gold speedbird livery was introduced in 1964.
