Anson Panel but which Mk?
Hi,
I've been restoring an late Mk Anson main panel and throttle box.
No instruments were fitted but placards are original.
It has been subject to some dog rough mods to go from rectangular suction gauge to circular/ Oil pressure cutouts look like high school metalwork class and some instrument screw mounting holes broach into the instrument cutouts.
Having said that the panel is marked with what appears to be a factory number and has all the expected rear fittings so does not appear to be a reproduction. May have been a GI panel but even I would be ashamed of the metalwork mods.
The closest match I can come up with is a T.21 but it is lacking any sign of the two gen failed lamp cutouts.
Another suggestion was one of the C.18 versions modified for India (C.18a).
Thoughts and suggestions gents.
Regards
Ross

I have around 1000 hours on the Anson 12, 19 and 21, but my last flight was so long ago (1962) I can't remember any details. However there is a CD available containing the Pilots Notes for the majority of the versions. http://www.pilot-notes.co.uk/transport_aircraft.htm

Anson Panel
It looks like the Mk21 panel to me. The two holes at the bottom right are for the Stbd engine primer and the other is for the windscreen washer. Above that is where the fuel tank indicator selector switch would be.The Generator failure lamps are the ones above this hole. The hole at the bottom next to the triple pressure gauge is for the downward ident lamp morse key. There should be a 3 position colour selector switch adjacent to it. Honest I'm not a nurd..
