Lovely man, Roger, kind, well-liked, a very good pilot, and latterly a good Dhow Captain (he had his own, and trips on it were highly sought after).
In case anyone did not know, he died in his sleep (in '76 - '77 or so) while taking a pm zizz after operating an early F27 service to Das Island in the morning, and the funeral took place in Abu Dhabi a few days later. He was buried in the Christian cemetary there.
It was a heart attack....a day or two after passing his medical.
