Looking for the Stirling Bomber
No I've not gone mad!
Prune is my first port of call on this.......
My Grandfather In-law was shot down in his Stirling during WW2 over Germany. He was a rear gunner and has told me many a fascinating story. Not only would I like to find out a little about his crew/Sqdn, but I'd love to know if there is a Stirling bomber still in existence, or a rebuild/restore anywhere?
He tells me there isn't but I know what the wonders of Prune can do
Any info greatly appreciated....
Maz

If you can give me a last name and approxiamate date of loss, I'm sure I can put something together for you.
Cheers...Chris
