Boeing 707 EL-AKJ Now scrapped at Southend?

Heard a rumour that long term resident EL-AKJ has finally been scrapped at SEN. Can anybody confirm, any pictures of the final moments?

Cannot help saw it at 1400 today intact cept the tail has been cut off.

First cut about 3 weeks ago, with the engines being taken away:



Then, this week they chopped her up, with the last skip load leaving yesterday (Saturday 7 April) :

Yes a shame the last 707 has now gone from SEN, i saw lumps of it arriving at the smelter just 3 miles way.

Still nice to here 426 howling yesterday
