Bristol Freighter in the UK?

Hi all

I heard a while back that there was a plan to return a Bristol Freighter to the UK (to Filton?). Has this happened? Or will it?

Cheers

Simon

Thanks for the info. The last post sounds promising - they still hope to get a Freighter, just not necessarily that particular one. Oh well, I'll be keeping an eye on the aviation pres for any further updates.

You might already have this information regarding location of various Bristol aircraft.

You can always trog round the back of the hangar at Enstone (Northside grass) if you want to see bits of one - and a lot of other junk as well.

My first flight (as a passenger about 4' high) was in one Lydd-Le Touquet - a while back.
