Best 5-abreast twinjet
What do you think is the best 5-abreast tailmounted twinjet?
Caravelle?
BAC 1-11?
DC-9?
Fellowship?
Also, what are the most important differences between them? Caravelle is distinctive (+-tail, triangular windows), but how do the other three differ?

Quite as few airlines made decent profits with the DC9. Offhand I can't think of anyone making good money with the other 3.
Caravelles were noisy as hell. A lot of aeroplane for not many seats.
One-Elevens were steady as a rock in calm conditions, all over the sky on crosswind landings.
Fellowship was a neat little aeroplane, which I associate with NLM, which was a neat little airline.

As for a lot of airplane for not many seats, how does Caravelle compare with Convair 880 and 990 quads?
