Hi Mel. Bull's-eye with the PZL-26! Five were indeed built for the 1934 Challenge Internationale des Avions de Tourisme.

In my search for finding more about this aircraft I found the following picture of the instrument panel. I was intrigued by what looks like a starting handle stuck in the middle of the panel. Looking at your photograph it looks as though this handle is stowed to the right of the windscreen. I would love to know the purpose of this handle. Can anyone provide the answer.
