Boxted Airshow 2006

It has been rumoured that this was the last Airshow to be held at the former USAAF and RAF airfield near Colchester.

It was a great day and the weather was good for the show. As usual I have taken a selection of photos!!

All photos from Boxted can be found here

Enjoy!

Rick

As one of the "armwavers" last weekend it certainly was an enjoyable event to be involved with.

With regard to it being the last event, that is still to be determined, as part of the site has recently been sold to another farmer who does not normally grow cereals. Discussions I believe are planned.

lets hope then that the Airshows continue to take place. Where is the best place to keep an eye on the happenings at Boxted? is there a website?

I was there, and indeed, a great day out. Shame about all the straw and chaff i had to clear out of my oil cooler intake though....Wondered why the oil temps were high on the way home
