British European-What service did they use to operate on-board

Hi all

I am aware that flybe are the biggest UK regional airline at the minute and that their econonmy plus product is probably the best in the UK, but out of curiousity what was on-board service like when they were known as British European? I can vaguely remember they used to have a seperate business class cabin on their 146 whisper jet flights, but when did they give this up and for what reason?

Excuse me if I can't really post a topic like this in this forum, but just curious
