F/L Michael Walmsley, 213 Squadron

When I was a child I was given an RAF pilot's log book for Flt Lt Michael Walmsley, which is all Canberra flying.

It's recently come to light again when I was moving house. It only has a couple of pages completed, covering the period May 1st - July 31st 1962, which is signed off to 213 sqdn. I always felt somewhat guilty by having it on my bookshelf as my own log books are quite prized possessions.

If anyone's got any details for F/L Walmsley so that I could forward the book back to him, I would guess he would be in his 60's - 70's by now and thought he might, if he's still around, appreciate it.

Worth a shot I guess!

Wow Mike, if ever there was (yet another) reason for keeping PPRuNe it's for this sort of thing.

Many thanks for all the trawling, I will despatch same tomorrow in the vain hope that I won't be done for being an accessory to theft!

Dai.
