hoping for some help

Hi there

I am hoping that some one could help point me in the right direction. My Husbands 40th birthday is comming up and I was hoping to get some autographs/ letters from some well known people in aviation.

He is an engineer and has a love of classic ww2 planes so I was hoping that I could focus my searching in that era. I am not just looking at pilots from that era although that would be great, but maybe some well known people who have restored and fly the planes today.

I am sorry if I am posting in the wrong forum. I have little knowledge in the field of avaition and am a bit lost with where I should start looking.

If anyone could help me with names, websites, email etc... of who I should be looking for I would be forever greatful.

Thank you for your help.
