Lockheed Constellation LSGG today
I just spent the afternoon watching a Lockheed Constellation practising circuits and bumps at Geneva, tucked neatly between the EZS and LX Airbuses on approach and departure.
The wonderful 4 engine radial noise and aircraft elegance as well as the reaction from other commercial pilots being asked to 'line up after approaching Lockheed Constellation' is something I will remember for a long time - did any other PPRuNers see the free show this afternoon?

I can just better the "line up behind..."
Taxying for R/w 34L in Sydney in her older sister [painted in a QF'ish scheme], and crossed 34L ahead of a QF B744. Tower's comment to the B744 "Follow the Company ahead!" Certainly don't hear THAT every day.
G'day

I love watching and listening to the Connies fly - sadly only ever seen them three or four times. Hope that the Bretiling 1049 and the Dutch 749 can appear in the UK again soon.
