Question Emergency landing of a TWA Connie in 1948

Hi ya,

looking for a piece of information:

At the 13. May 1948, a false fire warning triggered the crew of a TWA Constellation to release the CO2 bottles in the forward baggage compartment. Result was, that the cockpit crew nearly past out. Finaly they managed to land safe at Chillicothe, Missouri.

Now my question:
  • Does anybody know what the departure point and what the destination of this flight was?
  • The flight number and the number of the people on board?
Thanks in advance.
