Thumbs up What Cockpit? MK II

Welcome to the MK II stage of the "What Cockpit ?" thread originated by Mr_Grubby. By far the most popular single thread in Aviation History and Nostalgia, "What Cockpit? MK I" became too large and unwieldy a file and had to be "ppruned". MK II is a continuation of MK I and will continue as it's predecessor did.

A list of all identified aircraft cockpits from MK I will be posted here as soon as we can get our hands on it.

Anyone needing to refer to "What Cockpit MK I" will find it in it's place of honored retirement here: http://www.pprune.org/forums/showthread.php?t=191916

The current bowler is MReyn 24050 with:
[/IMG]

Hint was that it was a British aircraft.

Cricket23 incorrectly guessed Buccaneer.

BSD gave Sea Vixen a shot and missed.

Next......?

Game on!

Mel.
Thanks for the PM.

I fully understand the Mods. reasons for curtailing the thread. I would have liked to have seen 3.000 replies and 100.000 views. But never mind.

When I started the thread back in Sept. of last year I had no idea it would take off like this.

Everybody keep guessing !!!!

Clint.

Sorry, that link is not acceptable and is against PPRuNe rules. Now removed.

And in answer to your question - you can't not from here but you can edit your own post and links - if they are allowed.

Yup - well done!

Do-31 it is. I remember it well from the 1969 Paris Air Show.

You have the helm!

The clean lines of the cockpit gave it away. Apparently it was stunningly noisy.

I'll hand the helm back to you, I'm still nt able to post. Working on it though!

BEagle.
Thanks for your information regarding the link. When I tried it on my PC it worked but after seeing your response I tried via the laptop and as you say no go. So I deleted the Post.
Your latest challenge I think is the Northrop X15?
