F3H Demon Airfoil Specifications Wanted

Does anyone have any airfoil information on the F3H Demon?

NACA number?
Maximum thickness at root?
Maximum thinckness at tip?
Incidence?
Cord at root?
Cord at tip?
Leading edge angle?
Trailing edge angle?
% distance of max thickness point back from leading edge?
Symetrical or semi-symetrical profile?

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Brian

Root NACA 0008.6-1.08 41/1.20 mod, Tip NACA 0006.4-1.16 38/1.14 mod

Edited to add - check a copy of "Janes All the Worlds Aircraft" at your local library for the other details. Also see http://agert.homelinux.org/~fredrik/flyg/aircraft.html

DEfinition of Mod aspects of profile formula

RE: Root NACA 0008.6-1.08 41/1.20 mod, Tip NACA 0006.4-1.16 38/1.14 mod. I understand that the 0008.8 and the 0006.4 however, what does the -1.08 41/1.20 mod or -1.16 38/1.14 mod mean?

Cant help you there. Seeing where you live aerodynamacists must be thick on the ground - give Boeing a call.

Why not just visit the local cemetary & measure up a tomb-stone?? I hope you aren't going to build one.

Angel Demon

A good friend of mine is building up an ex RAAF Demon, to flying condition, using old parts as profiles, for new ones.

A brilliant piece of workmanship to date.

Will ask the questions for you.

Red face Demons

Sorry Henry, I didn't pick up on the "3H " designator, I assumed, initially that the subject was the Hawker Demon, which the RAAF had 64, A1-1 to A1-64, from 1934 to 1945.

Say hello to "Spotty Min ", for me.

Cheers

Angel Henry, Demons at the front door

Henry, there's someone at the front door, let him in Min. I don't have the key, Henry.
Don't forget to give my regards to , "Spotty Minnie Bannister "

I spotted my error after I sent the post, the NACA bit, which is of course, is the US of A. From memory it was a USN aircraft.

Don't forget to let Neddy in

Cheers,
