BOAC Comet

My uncle was the navigator on the first BOAC passenger carrying Comet to cross the Atlantic, West/East in October 1958.
This aircraft is now for restoration painted in Dan Air colours at Duxford IWM.
I have the original log presented to the crew and signed by the captain of that historic trip.
Ex RAF navigator on Lancaster's to name just one of many aircraft, Sqn. Ldr.
Arthur Lacey went on to Argonaut Fleet and for many years was seconded to the Royal Flights for BOAC one being bringing the present queen home from Africa when her father died.
When BOAC done away with navigators he move to East African Airways I believe until his death in 1999.
If anyone is interested in anymore re the Atlantic flight then please e-mail me off list.
