Spitfire exhibition at Science Museum

The Science Museum in London is running an exhibition " Inside the Spitfire" until Jan 2007.

According to the blurb in the Winter 2005 edition of This England, it features Spitfire PK664 which has been completely stripped down and deconstructed to reveal its original design.

The exhibition covers the design, development and service use of the Spitfire along with the personal stories of the people who flew, built and maintained them.

Other items include the original wind tunnel model, a Merlin engine and archive photos.

A bit far for me to go but would like to hear from anyone who has/will see it.

Well spotted, thank you - just what I need for a project I've got on.
