Happy Birthday DH82 Tiger Moth
Communication from Moth Towers . . . .
Just to advise you that TODAY is the 74th birthday of the DH82 Tiger Moth.
In North London at present the weather is grey, overcast, a little murky, mild with a slight westerly breeze. The sun is making an attempt to break through. Was it like this in 1931 when Hubert Broad strapped himself into G-ABRC? A little cooler I suspect.
The very last evidence of the old Stag Lane factory disappeared this summer, but the ghosts remain in the circuit and have every intention of staying there, I am advised!

As I recall from Alan Bramson's "Tiger Moth Story", G-ABRC survived the war and was last heard of at Croydon Airport, presumably as part of Rollason's cache. What a shame she isn't still around.
Hmmm, 75 next year, there should be some good celebrations, and not just at Woburn!
Happy birthday!
