Good Vulcan (or Woodford) book?

Does anyone know of a book that describes how the Vulcan was designed, built, and developed at Woodford? Not just a list of facts, but a book that really brings those exciting days to life?

Alternatively, anything similar that tells the story of Avro at Woodford? I know there is an extensive archive on the site (not, AFAIK, avialable to the public), and I wonder if anyone has used that material to produce a good book.

VULCAN

There are books on the Vulcan by various authors, and also one about Avro at Woodford, written by Harry Holmes, who was the PR guru at Woodford for many years. Suggest you try Amazon.
I believe Harry also wrote a book on the Lancaster.
I have also heard that there is a new book on the Vulcan, due to be released in October

Try The Vulcan Story 1952-2002 by Tim Laming (ISBN 0-304-35845-2) It has all the design and development info and the aircrew manual. Probably a good third of the book is allotted to the design and development stage at Woodford.
