East African Airways flight EC716 / 05.JAN.1969.
I am attempting to research a bit of unreported VC10 history - can you help? Flight EC716 (Nairobi -> Entebbe -> Rome -> London LHR/T3) made an unscheduled landing in Libya shortly after dawn 05.Jan.1969. Were you a member of the crew, a passenger, a maintenance engineer who worked on the aircraft in the following days, an administrator or suchlike? Any scraps of information welcomed, however trivial.
