E.T.P.S Gliders
I am looking for imformation on gliders operated by the E.T.P.S .
I understand they operated Cirrus XZ405 - can anyone tell me anything else that flew from Boscombe Down?

The ETPS glider fleet in 1955 consisted of a 2 seater Sedburgh No 920, an Olympia No 400, and a Sky No 226 launched by Chipmunks by aerotow. Sorry I didn't record the tail letters.

The `barge` was WB920, `Oly` was V V400 don`t know the `Sky` and didn`t log the soaring time in it !!(1968)

I am interested in all gliders operated from Boscombe Down.The
E.T.P.S machines in a particular were used for business - I believe
in familiarisation gliding flights . Any more information would be greatly appreciated!

Sorry Riley I have no info, just wondered if they were part of the ETPS course.
During my brief interlude doin' some gliding a dozen years or more ago (must get back to it) one of my instructors apparently test flew F-104s for the WGAF as a day job. As English as they came, even wore green wellies as I recall...
