Shuttleworth Summer Display 3rd July pics

The first weekend in July means two things, English summer (cloudy) weather and the Shuttleworth Summer display at Old Warden. A few pictures from what was an excellent show.

At the end of the show, the lucky prize winners from the regular competitions and raffle go up for their prize flights, just like Mrs M from Stonesfield.

A caption competition?? Seriously, without the men and women in white (well it was white once), not a lot would happen. Hats off to them.

Are those a Hind and a Gladiator there?

I've heard about the Shuttleworth Collection, but never realised what it owned.

I assume that they're all original?

Thanks chaps

passpartout

Yes they are all original and currently the only flying examples of the type.

Have a look here

The next display is an evening one in a couple of weeks, you know it makes sense.
