Yak-3 damaged at Paris '05

Just been reading on another forum that a Yak-3 has been damaged in a collision with a Dassault Falcon. Pretty nasty crunch from the picture but might be repairable... lets hope so!

How many Yak-3s are known to be airworthy?

Not sure what the damage to the Falcon was by the way

There are quite a few around, mostly re-engineered Yak 11s I think. Hopefully if the spar isn't bent it won't be too long before it flies again.

I rather assume the Falcon hit the Yak as all the damage is at the left wing root, wqith not prop damage visible. But...
