Cadet MkIII WT910
The present owner of Kirby Cadet Mk III WT910 is trying to find out about its days in the Air Training Corps.
If anyone has this serial in an old 3822 or Glider Pilot Logbook, please can you email Ritch Blood at:
[email protected]
He and his son are trying to restore it to flying condition. It brought back a flood of memories at Bruntingthorpe today, The epitomy of "basic" whose average flight lasted approx 2 min 30secs.

suggest you look at Richard Cawsey's website on Slingsby gliders www.rcawsey.fsnet.co.uk/slingsby.htm
You'll find a photo of WT 910 in the section on T31's
also contact Richard on his email - he came up with all the ATC history on our T21/Sedbergh WJ306 after all my enquiries to the RAF etc failed

Gentleman Aviator
This site is a useful basic resource checking on UK military aircraft serials. WT 910 is included. Unfortunately it doesn't list the fate of my first solo Chipmunk, WG 308.
Spot,
Have responded to the email address as well. I flew WT910 on the strength of 617VGS at RAF Manston between 1981 and the end of wooden glider operations in 1986. How long the glider was at Manston prior to my arrival in '81 I do not know.
regards
