MJ627 display at East Kirkby

I saw one of Squadron Leader Paul Day's displays in MJ627 for the first time on Monday, and what a sight!

I'd urge anyone who's not been up to East Kirkby to do so, it's a very dignified memorial to the crews of Bomber Command and it has much more to offer in addition to the lovely NX611.

I wasn't very well placed in the crowd for what was a very tight display, I also managed to mess up the IS setting on my lens, but here are the results,

Rob

Thanks very much for the comments. It's a lovely subject for a photo, and a very good display.

East Kirkby is well off the beaten track, but it's worth a visit (I think I've already said that). The Pantons really deserve a great deal of praise and support for what they've created.

I've got some photos of NX611's two taxi runs that I'll stick up on another thread.

Cheers, Rob
